The FISU Emblem -
“The Eternal Flame”

The FISU Emblem, known as the "Eternal Flame" symbolizes the illuminated consciousness that exists within each person.

The emblem consists of nine unique components: seven colors within the flame and two elements in the bowl. The flame displays seven different colors, with five of these representing the essential elements of the universe—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. These elements also align with the five human senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

At the center of the flame, the blue area symbolizes the first expression of divinity, mirroring the boundless nature of the blue sky. This blue hue represents the fundamental essence from which warmth emanates. In the heart of the flame, the white color signifies the beginning of all existence—serving as the source from which everything arises, representing both the entirety of existence and the void.

The Ghee bowl, featuring three symmetrical points, embodies the idea of the Trinity or the three Gunas. Inside the bowl lies Ghee, or clarified butter, symbolizing purity and the soul’s transformative journey towards inner cleanliness, as experienced by those on a spiritual quest.

The design of the bowl reflects speed or velocity, signifying the enhancement of spiritual development facilitated by FISU’s customized practices.

As we utilize our physical senses to delve deeper within, we gradually move beyond the more coarse levels of experience, reaching progressively elevated states of consciousness.

The purifying flame emanating from the Ghee illustrates the soul’s journey from a state of coarseness to one of refinement, ultimately leading to self-realization.

Through FISU Meditation, we open our hearts, enabling subtle energies to steer us from external distractions to inner insight, transitioning from darkness to light, and ultimately recognizing the divinity that exists within us.
