Changing The Polarity of The Mind

Keep on doing as much good as you can and you will balance out the bad karmas, the impressions or samskaras in the subconscious mind.

For example, if for five seconds you have a bad thought, for the next six seconds have a good thought, then you are one in the credit.  If for the next ten seconds you have a bad thought, after that for twelve seconds, turn your mind to a good thought, a pleasurable thought.  Look at some nice picture or whatever for twelve seconds, so that there’s another two in the credit balance.  So now you have three.

It goes on and on and at the end of the day before you go to sleep, you will have a credit balance.  And if you go to sleep with a good thought or even your mantra, the chant, or your favourite prayer – not for yourself, “oh God, give me this and God give me that”, no – but for the benefit of mankind – you will just float away with it and it will be working in your subconscious all the time.

Getting to the credit balance

So, you have so many seconds in your credit balance. Multiply it by thirty for a month, and then multiply that by twelve for a year and you will see how much of a credit balance you have gained. What – Gururaj Ananda Yogi
